JACKSON FAMILY CEMETERY
On the grounds of Burke Presbyterian Church, 5690 Oak Leather Way, off Burke Centre Parkway
Burke, VA

The Jackson Family Cemetery is located on the grounds of the Burke Presbyterian Church, 5690 Oak Leather Way, off Burke Centre Parkway in Burke. The cemetery is near a power substation south of or behind the east wing of the church which houses the preschool and youth programs.

A “Cemetery” sign marks the burial ground which is surrounded by a wire fence with a wooden gate. The site within the fence is 22 paces wide and 35 paces long. In September 1994, the cemetery was covered with brush and small trees. Some depressions and fieldstones were noted, but the area was too overgrown to make an estimate of the number of burials. A previous survey reported evidence of more than 20 gravesites, about ten marked with fieldstones. The cemetery receives no maintenance.
