Springhouse Remains:

This spring is one of the headwaters for Huntley Meadow’s wetlands. The springhouse structure was damaged during construction of Huntley Meadows Lane. Listen Carefully: do you hear water gurgling? That's an underground spring. You can see the remains of the old spring house. Huntley residents used the spring for fresh water and natural refrigeration. Now the spring feeds the wetlands of Huntley Meadows Park.
