Fort Willard
Civil War Fort constructed in 1862 as part of the defense system for Washington, D.C.
Site donated by the developers of Belle Haven
Gene and Helen Olmi, Sr.
Gene and Natalie Olmi, Jr.

Erected by Fairfax County Park Authority.

The marker plaque used to be mounted on top of the stone column under an oak tree. When the plaza was built, the plaque was moved here.
