This family cemetery was located at the intersection of Sydenstricker and Hooes Roads. Due to the construction of the Fairfax County Parkway, seven Deavers family members buried at this site were relocated to Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, Virginia 22306; 703-765-3800. Information about the burials is on file at the Virginia Room of the Fairfax City Regional Library.

This family cemetery was moved to allow widening of Hooes Rd. where it intersects the Fairfax County Parkway. The remains were reinterred at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, in the Masonic Section, Lots 199 and 200 on March 21, 1989. The new graves are all identified by bronze markers. The seven remains which were reinterred at Mount Comfort Cemetery are: Norman Curtis Deavers, Margaret Deavers, Martin Deavers, Olive Deavers, Gordon Deavers, Dorothy Deavers, Dora Virginia Deavers, and Norman Deavers.
