Community Baptist Church Cemetery

This family cemetery (not to be confused with the Beach Family Cemetery in the Burke area of Fairfax County) is located right along the side of the road on Community Lane, about 100 yards from its intersection with Old Ox Road, Fairfax Station. Fairfax County Tax Maps indicate that this cemetery belongs to the James T. Beach family heirs.

Although Fairfax County records list this site as the Beach Family Cemetery, it is known locally as the COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY.

When the site was surveyed by members of the Fairfax Genealogical Society for inclusion in volume II of their series "Fairfax County, Virginia Gravestones" in 1995, there were seven grave markers in the one-quarter-acre site and evidence of unmarked burials. One of the grave markers was illegible. The area adjacent to the gravestones was maintained, but the rest of the site was overgrown.
